A lot of curries were invented in Britain after the first culinary emigres from the Indian subcontinent came to Britain. A lot are surprisingly British, even to the British; they're usually not good for people with hypertension though, and that's by British food standards which are second in health to perhaps only American or foul Scandinavian standards

Isn't a sausage roll just sausage meat rolled up in pastry? Used to be get them from Gregg's bakers with a fudge donut all the time. They weren't very good though donuts were fantastic though.

The listed example isn't extreme egalitarianism, though. It's specifically raising the issue of sex above all other concerns, e.g. discriminating against someone because of their race is okay if it means that you're not discriminating based on their sex.

Besides, "extreme egalitarianism" wouldn't work that way, because part of the latter element is ensuring that everyone is on an equal playing field--a disability merits additional consideration because it's an unfair disadvantage.

anyway... this morning as I was loading something or other website and a pop-up ad came up (I think?) on my phone, the phone immediately shut itself down, giving a message that it was out of power. I couldn't get it to start up again until just now, almost twelve hours later. The tab that the ad was coming up in wasn't there.
