I am still creeped out by the knowledge that Human leather, if it was actually used, actually would be considered a high quality leather that cannot be replicated with other leathers.

Both by how macabre that is... and also by "What else?"

High quality? I'm pretty sure it's considered to be pretty terrible. The only reason it's expensive is because of its rarity for obvious reason.

Ed Gein isn't a 'net thing. He's the most famous of all 20th century serial killers. He was the basis of ALL the movies - Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Silence of the Lambs (both Hannibal Lecter AND Buffalo Bill were based on this dude).

Their business model is that they "buy" the skin of a living person with healthy skin for a substantial amount of money, and then once that person dies they get first dibs on the cadaver. I assume the agreement is void if your skin was damaged in any way, like if you got gored by a boar while being drunk on too much wine. I found it because I was looking up on how I would go about selling my organs post-mortem.

Their website is, surprisingly, named http://www.humanleather.co.uk/ For such a business, their site is very professional and SFW if you don't mind the fact that all leather you see there belonged to a living person at one point.

They're like those shark gloves people, but less insane.

We do. The problem is that they aren't given to seventy-year-olds. Though I didn't get my first computer-dedicated class until college.

Some of the students in those classes had never even seen a computer before. Which is convenient for them, consider the level of complexity of those classes. "This is how you create a folder. This is how you open a document.". Bleh.

uggg I hate that. I have only ever had a few computer classes that taught much more than typing, ((and it never improved mine)) the few being one that showed us more complex functions of Microsoft word, and my web design class.

but now the computer classes have been removed from the school ((THAT WAS MY PATHWAY YOU IMBICIELS!)) quite frustrating.
