I just learned that, due to scheduled time travel shenanigans, I'm going to miss September 24th in its entirety.
For some reason this makes me rather excited.

Sep 24 is a pretty crappy day anyway. You won't miss it.

Well, now I'm suspecting it's actually really super-awesome and this is all a cunning plot to make me miss out on the celebrations.
Sep 25 is gonna be awesome regardless, though, as I drag my let-lagged corpse out to party hard after a few hours sleep.

Interesting note, but that would only be true if you crossed between the hours of 10pm and midnight in the area of French Polynesia (since they go up to +14 instead of just +12), or if you crossed right at midnight. Elsewise you would still experience the day, just only for a few hours while you were on a plane.
