Downloading Steam games at a whopping 15 KB/S, whoo.

Are the Steam servers overloaded or is my internet broke in some way?

The servers break every time they have a sale. every...single...time

"Uh, hey, do you think we should upgrade our server capacity to handle the traffic during these sales and improve customer service?"

"No."

On the one hand I can understand them not upgrading their entire infrastructure to be consistently capable of 10-100x the traffic they get on their busiest non-event days (wildly guesstimating).
On the other hand, they made a click game
On the third hand, there are services like Amazon AWS exactly for predictable spikes of traffic like this

His current one, which was mentioned not too long ago in the Tabletop thread, and his Secretly a God DMPC in an older campaign of his. Plus his bullshit succubus in the campaign he wants to run. His other DMPC in that campaign isn't too much better, being an infinitely reincarnating person as part of his backstory.

The current one is incredibly obnoxious though, and has come very close to outright hindering other players for lulz.

So I have this hobby, where me and a couple other guys on physicsforums hunt for crackpot posts before they get deleted and save them for our enjoyment. I know, probably says something not entirely flattering about my character.
But some are just so out there and absolutely amazing that I just can't help myself.

This very important thread examines gravity and inertia in relation to what is our fundamental and stabilized experience of extension/distance in/of space as involving a balance of being and experience.

The ultimate unification of physics (and of inertia and gravity), as I will demonstrate, combines, balances, and includes opposites.
The ultimate unification of physics balances being and experience.
We always start with typical, ordinary, common, fundamental/foundational experience(s) in establishing physical fundamentals/truths.

FULL INERTIA

Consider that the actual/real/full/direct experience of outer space as it is ENTIRELY destroys and precludes our being, thought, and experience (including all visual experience). Outer space involves full inertia, as it is fully invisible; and it is fully detached and ENTIRELY REMOVED from our touch/tactile experience. Also, the space is black; there is weightlessness (no feeling of gravity); and we are not (and cannot be) touching anything as outer space.


FULL GRAVITY
Stand up and look directly downward at the Earth/ground. IMPORTANTLY AND FUNDAMENTALLY, full gravity is full distance in/of space as it is seen, felt, AND touched. The space is fully visible and it is not detached in relation to touch/tactile experience. This space is opaque. (Consider the range of gravitational feeling).


HALF GRAVITY AND HALF INERTIA: THE MIDDLE DISTANCE.

The space that is between (and in the MIDDLE of) these two spaces enjoys the properties of visibility and invisibility. Indeed, invisible and visible space in fundamental equilibrium and balance IS (logically, clearly, AND fundamentally) the middle distance in/of space consistent with half gravity and half inertia.

Think about it. We want to balance being and experience. Think about the eye now. It is invisible and visible, and it is semi-detached in relation to touch/tactile experience in the experience of the middle distance in/of space. The bodily/visual experience of the eye is invisible and visible in balance.

Now, given the fully visible body (considering this bodily/visual experience), we have the experience of full distance in/of space in balance with the middle distance in/of space in the experience of the fully visible Earth/ground.


The post is not in any way substandard. It is most excellent. Please give this thread the maximum exposure that it clearly merits. This is a major breakthrough in physics.

I HAVE FUNDAMENTALLY AND TRULY/EXTENSIVELY EXPLAINED GRAVITATIONAL AND INERTIAL EQUIVALENCY AND BALANCING.

It is seen that the bodily/visual experience goes from invisible (your detached eye) to semi-visible (as another person's eye, semi-detached) and then to the fully visible body (attached bodily/visual experience), with the fully visible Earth/ground, as a balanced middle distance experience in balance with full distance in/of space, a balance of being and experience.

THE COSMOLOGICAL REDSHIFT:

Accordingly, the cosmological redshift in telescopic/astronomical observations allows more to be visible. This is only done by increasing the invisibility of space with the visibility. Therefore, the inertia is increasing with the gravity. The space is stretched/expanded and contracted/flattened (on balance).

WE HAVE TO CONSIDER HOW THESE ASTRONOMICAL/TELESCOPIC OBSERVATIONS ARE FUNDAMENTALLY POSSIBLE.

Consider how the bodily and visual extension and experience of space is FUNDAMENTALLY POSSIBLE.

Eh, infinite reincarnation can be done well. Planescape:Torment or Dark Souls are pretty good examples. Given how you described the guy though, I'm guessing it's done terribly.

Man today was the best Zoo day ever!

Usually the animals are all resting or hiding from view... but today all the animals seemed to be right up front where you could easily see them.

I REALLY wish I could have enjoyed it.

Unfortunately for me I was with a group that I lost track of... so I was running around for three hours and never found them again...

I can tell you I am now extremely exhausted and can barely move... UGH!

Well not tired exactly... I have a lot of "stamina" when it comes to being tired... I mean more or less my limbs no longer will move under my own power.

Edit: Of COURSE no one understands why I am hobbling... Sure 3 hours of light walking without a break or hydration would have left someone tired but still relatively ok.

But I was death marching... I walked past the point where my limbs hurt until they were threatening to give out on me.

My limbs just don't move right, right now and hurt to move.

Make sure to download Skyrim Unbound, it completely removes the pointless and boring prison-wagon ride (and the Helgen sequence) from the beginning of the game.

That stupid wagon ride was by far the single biggest flaw of the game. (The portion of the Helgen scene after you gain full control of your character is actually semi-worthwhile, but if losing it is the price to pay to remove the wagon scene it is still a massive gain in terms of game quality)


EDIT:
This goes double for people who have never played the game before. Best not to ever encounter that scene at all. It's completely worthless like the tram ride at the beginning of Half-Life

Except the tram ride was made exclusivly to show off yhe fancy new game engine that valve had JUST made. They could load it up for future investors and say "this is what vavle the company can do. It wasnt so necessary for skyrim.
