This was kind of justified though, since the Totenkopf ("death's head") was part of an insignia used by elite prussian cavalry, and part of the nazi's plan to legitimize themselves to the german people was associating the nazi party with a revival of old prussian ways.

Was he referring to the pencils or Wikipedia's policies? The latter really are lunacy in application if not purpose.
