The talk of Nazi lolis reminded me of something that happened in highschool.

Toon porn may be illegal in Canada, but I don't know the specifics of the laws. A student liked to make animations, which were eventually discovered by a teacher, who reported him to the police. He was eventually charged for creating and distributing child pornography, as well as some sort of drug charge and hate charges due to the contents of his animations.

They were eventually discarded because not only was there no sex or nudity within the animations, but because one character calling another a kid is not enough evidence to be able to determine a stick figure's age.

Meanwhile, quite a few members of the anime club would draw porn of their OTPs and share it with as many other people as possible, and nothing ever came of it to my knowledge. Some of them were good artists, though I still wish I could unsee what they drew.

Gimp is so fucking frustrating. I spent about an hour trying to do something that would have taken all of five minutes in photoshop, because for some reason they decided to make layering as unintuitive and finicky as they possibly could. You would think raising a portion of an image above the background and sliding something in between them would be a pretty easy job, but apparently that's too much to ask from the definitive open-source image manipulation tool.

I myself clock in at a respectable 38 days, 3 hours, and 6 minutes.

Select area, float selection (ctrl-shift-L, IIRC), rename floating section?

I feel like the only person in the world who finds GIMP easy to use...

Meanwhile in PS it boils down to select, copy/cut, paste. Why you would complicate something as simple as that is beyond me.

in gimp, it's still select+cut+paste, but then you set it as its own layer in the layer right-click menu IIRC

You can do it like that in GIMP too, but that's one command more than floating the selection.

The trick here is blindfolds and earplugs (or earmuffs, if you have 'em). Personally, for the former I just use the microfiber cloth I have for cleaning my glasses -- tight weave blocking everything out, soft, and clean enough to suit me. Then everything is dark and quiet and you can sleep. It's nice.
