Having a random browse, and it seems that of all the news sites I've seen, the Daily Mail has the most sympathetic commenters compared to general twats.

There's a large neighbourhood cat whose hobby seems to be staring through our windows (there's a full-wall window on one side of the kitchen/dining room) at all hours of the night. It watches my friend's cat in a rather creepy manner, just staring wide-eyed, following her every move when she's near the window as though it's about to pounce. My friends says its little wonder his cat (formerly a mostly outdoor cat before he brought her here)  doesn't like to go outside any more.
At other times the catbeast shows up in the back yard, on the street, even in our garage.

I don't know what that cat is planning, but I hope it doesn't involve me.
Unless the plan is to become friends. I'd be up for that. ^_^

That cat has something on the mind.  Maybe it isn't fixed?
I'm totally psyching myself up to adopt one soon.  It's been nearly two years since my cat died...  I was really attached to her, particularly due to moving around a lot and being distant (in various ways) from my family.  I think she had a good life, though.  I don't have nightmares about the final vet visit, I have dreams where she's still around and nuzzling/clawing me.

Believe it or not, this is all Ben Franklin's "fault".  He was tolerant (like the other founding fathers) but wanted God to watch over and assist America's Great Experiment.  Hence the eye.  He *was* a Mason, yes, but it apparently didn't represent their order at the time.  I'm pretty sure the Masons adopted the symbol because of Franklin, later.

If I recall correctly that's one of the ugliest  - if not THE ugliest - hairstyles a person can have (you mean the one with the crazy sideburns, right?)
