Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is a fun game. But it seems to fall apart near the end of the story.

I don't mean that it gets less compelling or anything like that. I mean it literally begins to fall apart. The bugs seem to flourish.

I'm having a bit of a problem navigating the level I'm on because much of the scenery is either replaced with other pieces of scenery or missing entirely. For example, an entire staircase was simply gone. I could still walk them, but it took me a while to actually find them.

The oddest part is that most of the scenery that ended up replaced would be replaced by pizza. I'm serious. Door handles, hanging lamps, and even entire benches were replaced by single slices of pizza.

This isn't the worst of the bugs I've encountered, but it certainly seems the most ridiculous.

Vampire - Pizzeria Edition

Why isn't this in the "things that made you laugh today" thread?

Because it effectively prevented me from being able to progress. I eventually beat it, after looking up a walkthrough on YouTube.

The ending left me conflicted. That's about all I can say without spoiling anything.

A 30-year old man w/a black eye just informee me that he was the healer from 'Joshua 2'.  I didnt ask himfor moreor mention I didnt know that particular scripture well, but he told me if I would share my weekly food budget with him he'd heal my wounds.  I also neglected to inform him of my healthy status; maybe he meant my mental traumas?

Anyway, after asking for $50,  some of my groceries, and then ciggarettes, I told him to piss off, and he  seemee offended that I thought people in poor neughborhoods at night might want to assault me.

did he look like he needed the food though? I might have been best to just give him some food so he gets to eat tonight, and skip the faith healing. (though that is terribly original in the approach)

Joshua 2 is the story where the Israelite spies go and hide in a prostitute's house. I don't think any healers where involved... unless he was thinking of syphilis.

Also, what smeep said. Everyone needs food, and faith healing isn't particularly reliable.

it's cool, I had a hitchhiker bestow a christian blessing on my mother-in-law's SUV when we drove him to his house (he was walking ten miles in the blazing heat so maybe it was heatstroke.) Personally, I find that kind of entertainment well worth the trade off of a ride, some money, or some food, and I'm not exactly rolling in cash.

There are 2 food kitchens, 1shelter, and 1 food bank with 2 miles of that location.  In addition, there are  3 or 4 halfway houses within a half hour walk, and on Sundays a full lunch in a bag is pased out by the local interfaith church.  This last Wensday, Christmas, pulled pork and an extra 'weekly bag' was handed out by the kitchen I volunteer at.  And the amount of state clinics and support sevices nearby is actuallt suprising.

  my point being there is alot around, and the erractic nature of requests was offputting.  He walked off towards the shelter, which hands out bagged dinners of 4 ham/cheese sandwiches and 2 apples on the weekend.

  Asking passersby for stuff is not done offa sidestreet, where burned out factories and abandoned housed are the prevailing feature.
