Bisecting people in DF is surprisingly hard to do consistently for some reason. It seems that I sometimes tear apart all the organs in the body (pancreas, kidneys, spleens, stomaches, guts), before a bisection happens. And sometimes, I do it in one-two hits.

I'm pretty sure it's hard to consistently chop through someone's neck as an executioner even though they're sitting there waiting for you to do it.

Takes a lot of practice that's for sure. During the time for it nobles would shell out for a good executioner to get the decapitation right so the victim wouldn't suffer. Those of lower station had to suffer the apprentice.

Chopping through neck, heads, arms and legs is extremely consistent once you have enough attack power, actually.

It's because arm/legs don't have those pesky organs which act as weapon magnets.

You remember wrong, both Catherine and Anne were beheaded in a single stroke each. Henry shipped in a skill French executioner to Britain just to lop their heads off cleanly. If you were wealthy you would not hire an amateur.
