I'm going to put this on record.
I did not impersonate Developous. I did not go, imitate his speech patterns and look for one those inexplicably cool avatars of his. And if I did, I would have exaggerated his behavior patterns to an illogical and insane degree.
It'd do if you didn't hold his memory in shame, in the least (ie that signature quote).
Some of those participating in the thread may be young--around adolescence, and maybe or not they aren't that aware that serious cases like these exist in real life a lot; most are bereft from the media hence why it maybe be treated as an outlying case, but to treat this as a continuing 'joke', of any degree, after
quite some time after knowledge of the incident and the person acting around it would do the other party no good in the long run.
Exemplified by his thinking process back there...in the thread, by the screenshot of Developous, what's best is to either ignore if you don't have anything good to say (as in, merely make a good remark instead of goading), or just let it be.
What I'm saying are that these cases are pretty 'non-trolling' in many aspects: there is a very real level of seriousness behind the person if a historical search is done, and in some cases, it should be taken with all seriousness instead of being lumped under the pile of 'make fun of/in', when that could be taken in a...real bad way. There's a reason many people feel sad for the situation after looking at the context...and that sad isn't malevolent.
When asked to stop, please stop--or ask why you're being asked that, in the least. Ask for information: sure, but don't continue that cycle. While he keeps on doing this--that doesn't mean any other person should.
Though this is maybe all me responding under mental fatigue of Finals. >_< It's just...ugh, to see it continue that way.
