I miss my old barber, who I would tell "Give me something that looks interesting." and every couple of months would be an ADVENTURE. Oh, those were the days.

The last time I dropped by, my barber noticed my license plate and correctly guessed where I lived.

Some guy also came into the barber shop during that time, and when asked if he wanted a haircut jokingly said he'd come for a martini.

My hair grows astoundingly quickly and curls like mad, so I have an innate +3 to +6 bonus to saving throws to avoid mind-altering effects.

Pfft my barber is a STYLIST.

Still basically just a barber most of the time though, I ask for a 'job hunter' and she knows exactly what I want.  The cheapest place in town as far as I know too.  5 Bucks for a basic haircut, but I usually give $5 for the cut and a $5 tip, since that's how much I would have paid at the big chain place in the mall, and she does a better job than they do anyway.

The chain place couldn't give a rat's ass.  Your head could literally transform in an instant into an actual giant rat's ass and they probably wouldn't notice with how much attention they are paying to their cell phones while cutting.

Barbers are different from stylists. Barbers take a fifteen month to two year course, and can shave your face and neck, stylists/cosmetologists take a 9 month cosmetology & beauty course on hair, makeup, and nails. Proper barbers, of course, charge hella more money and specialize in short haircuts, like the fade.
