I'm left handed. This is something I'm generally proud of, if only because being lefty is not really common. Also Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain were left handed too so that's kinda cool.~~

Anyway, according to totally trustworthy Wikipedia, Justin Bieber is also left handed.

A popular hypothesis is that being left-handed is what drove Kurt Cobain to suicide. See, he had scoliosis, was reportedly actually ambidextrous. When he bought his first guitar, he had to choose: right or left handed. Since Hendrix played lefty, that's what Cobain chose. The problem is, the way he had to sit to play lefty aggravated his scoliosis and probably drove him to painkillers, which led down a very dark path. Then again, there are also a lot of people who think Courtney Love murdered Kurt, too, so there's that.

I've seen that. Apparently the people who think that either don't understand the difference between being a leader and being bossy, or don't understand that men can be called bossy too.

Eh... maybe (hell, probably) going about it the wrong way, but what they're trying to do (assuming the article is actually credible to any degree -- a lot of headlines along these lines massively blow things out of proportion) is break down the -- definitely existent -- pattern where males and females can indulge in the exact same behavior and see the former praised (assertive, a leader, etc.) and the latter condemned (bossy, nag, so forth). Basically, men can be called bossy, but it takes notably more extreme behavior for it to happen. Different thresholds before the acts begin to draw ire, which is where the problem is, especially considering how much emphasis is put on assertive behavior these days.
