Probably not.  There was a big thing about all of the institutions like this awhile ago, and all of those "summer camps for disturbed individuals," or some such.  Basically all of those locations either have minimal governmental interference, or pay the judges/parents to send them their disturbed teens for their patented Child Discipline Issues™, or something.  They have no oversight, people sign over all of their rights to the schools/camps, and actually treatment/therapy is carried out by untrained and unlicensed "professionals" who "totally know what they're doing."  Luckily for them there are giant black holes in our legal system about them, and their word apparently weighs more in court than a "disturbed" teenager's does.  Not sure if this institution is exactly like those, but it'd probably be futile to go against it.

Luckily, it sounds like this was a voluntary thing that you could leave at anytime instead of blinding rage-inducing summer camp things they have.  If you had videos of the teachers mistreating you, you'd possibly be able to get them on minor assault charges, but the school in general would be protected by claiming ignorance.

Also, I probably blacked out by the sheer amount of rage that I have built up for these "institutions" and shit like this, so if anything doesn't make sense in this post, it's probably because of that.

In other news I just went to get a yogurt from the fridge, when I turned around there was suddenly a herd of seven deer out the window that wasn't there when I looked 2.8 seconds ago. It was like one of those scenes from a horror movie where someone opens a door and checks outside, then turns around and there's inexplicably a monster behind them.

Only with deer.

I was actually excited.

It went so ridiculously bad I actually laughed once I stopped crying. I would have never expected it to be that bad in a million years.

Let me give you the blow-by-blow.

First few periods, fine. Nothing special here.

The next few periods, I started to get reaaaally uncomfortable. From what I'd seen of the tour, it had felt just a tad Orwellian what with kids being watched at all times. This was much worse. There were a few minor arguments with teachers and whatnot, and I put in to talk to (names) about it.(People who know me know) I can't work well at all when I'm pressured and uncomfortable.

I pushed a little too hard about the subject, then felt too meh to go where they wanted me to go. They did not respond well, by physically dragging me over to my locker and then shoving me into their time-out room which does appear to have been at least used as a padded cell. Three big teachers are as solid as any door.

It was hard to explain what was wrong in between crying and sobbing from being shoved. But I at least got out the feeling that I was not okay with it seeming like a behavior modification facility of dystopian proportions.

They promptly told  me that it actually WAS a behavior modification facility of dystopian proportions. Oh, and the guy (?) talked to me like he owned me and I couldn't back out. Which, judging from how my parents talked about it, is at least partly rooted in reality. He talked like he could just force my depression to go away somehow. Because somehow, dragging me into things when I feel too terrible to do them is going to spontaneously make the chemicals balanced again.

....
After that, I just waited.

Oh, and whoever I talked to while waiting for the bus (names) liked dystopian fiction.

Like seriously. What the actual fuuudge. I mean, I'm sure there are people who need this, but for crying out loud this is absurd. :I

After a minor brush with shit like that, I taught myself how to pick locks with materials concealed in my clothing, and how to draw a knife with my mouth while bound (it's taped under my collar). Ya know, sneak out from the padded cell, grab a cuppa coffee, be casually sipping it when they get back, saying "hey, you guys don't have as much control as you think, I'm only still here because I want to be."

Also, how old are you? Because if you are genuinely, provably assaulted by a teacher, you should do some damage.
