Oh gods, don't even make me think about going back to the same fucking job after spring semester. Because I pretty much have to, unless I can find one elsewhere. Combine the requirement to look cheerful with a customer base that is almost entirely composed of bigoted old white people and summer camps that can't control their charges, supervisors who never had training (because of the old faulty logic of "good at this job" = "good at making other people do this job") and are bitter and hostile half the time (mostly because they make about $1 more per hour than us grunts and have been there in one case for something like 40 years), upper management that has been driving us deeper into the red with terrible policies, and the explicit knowledge that we will never get raises, vacation time, benefits, promotion, etc.

Just got a call from my bank. Apparently, someone swiped my card number today, and tried to use it to buy over $150 worth of crap at a pharmacy.

Bank denied them on the grounds of irregular activity (I haven't been in that brand of pharmacy in years), emailed me immediately, and when I didn't respond within three hours, called me.

I never thought I'd say this, but you've done well, bank. You've done well.

Damn, bizarre urge to play Sonic Adventure again.  Not the Xbox 360 port, or the Gamecube one, no, the Dreamcast one, complete with VMU that runs out of batteries ridiculously quickly and the controller that had way too short a cord.  Weird.
