I have recently been replaying Twilight Princess (the GC version) on my Wii.  I don't have a memory card and am just leaving the wii on between sessions.  Your guess is as good as mine if I beat it thanks to that.  All it takes is an accidental button push or one loss of power...

But during a little light reading I have come across some incredibly perfect little details.... details about Majora's Mask and similarities to ...another... mask... and the identity of the Hero's Spectre...

WTF Nintendo I thought you weren't supposed to mindfuck children.

Ocarina of Time link entered the Lost Woods without a fairy.  OoT link is a hylian, not one of those lost woods native kids (don't recall their names).  Hylians that enter the lost woods without a fairy become stalfos (skeleton things).    The hero's specter from Twilight Princess claims to have once been a great hero like link, and teaches Link his moves.   The hero's specter is a stalfos.

The Fused shadow has eyes similar to those of majora's mask.  There's even images around that replace one of the eyes of the fused shadow with that of majora's mask to reinforce it.   Zant uses the same fighting style as Majora's Wrath.

And there was also a less convincing thing of Skullkid of Twilight princess being skullkid of Majoras mask, and skullkid of Majora's mask being the skullkid you teach sarias song to in Ocarina of Time.  Skullkid of Ocarina of time likes masks, Skullkid of Majoras mask obviously likes masks, Skullkid of Twilight princess plays Saria's song, and wears a mask that looks like the Majora's mask moon smiling.

I personally think of him as a ghost with unfinished business since he doesn't physically manifest the same way the stalfos do, along with the fact that if you look closely at his model you can see that he has ghost flesh everywhere except his face. Also because I feel as if Link already has enough abuse heaped on him considering all he's went through, along with the thing with his eye
