Technically it could be worsening it. Which would be worse: Something Lovecraftian chasing you, or having a moe character chase you and then find out its actually a lovecraftian monstrosity?

My mental imagery of Lovecraftian horrors are exponentially more terrible than any artificial idol man could ever create to represent them.

Case in point, that awesome statue of Cthulhu within my second favorite of Lovecraft's stories. =)

Incidentally, I just noticed the scalpel hair clip things. That's... actually kind of brilliant, in a really twisted way. Someone should totally sell those to doctors.
