Sounds pretty typical then. Colleges rarely have enough teachers for all the subjects, so they find "close enough" people to do the more basic stuff. Had a physicist teaching a remedial math course (which I had to take because my major required binary and hexadecimal math, and was only taught in that one course) one year.

Tried looking him up to see if I could find out but his name appears quite common, and putting Dr. in front of it just seems to bring up a bunch of MDs.    His first name is obviously extremely common (Jack, he's Asian American) so that doesn't help either.

So no clue how old his PhD is.  Oh well, I did see him on ratemyprofessor.com though.  High marks for easiness (4 tests no homework) with bad marks for clarity (heavy accent) and helpfulness (expects folks to know more than they reasonably should even in the 101 course).  Glad to see that not everybody likes him.

I wish someone would crack the DRM so we could make our own private, moddable servers.  We could fix so many design issues with the base game.  For one, the vast majorities of MMOs won't even consider perma-death, because people get pissed off if they lose something after dumping even a couple hours into it.  Some people put over 100 years into their characters in this one.

But the game has only been running for thirteen.  If they have over a hundred years, then they would have to put the game inside of its own time-bubble and play it nonstop for the rest of their lives.
