I can recall reading on the Ninja base class.
They had an ability where they could turn invisible as a swift action (basically a free action, with limit of once per round)
They also gained "sudden strike" which worked exactly like sneak attack, only doesn't activate on flanking, and they got enough of a bonus to jump checks to leap over buildings.

Plus a few dozen other overpowered abilities. I think they could phase shift before level 20.

What the hell kind of ninja was this? Because I could've sworn most ninja classes were considered to be sucklords.

I should mention that none of these ninjas compare to deadEarth's Mad Whack Voodoo Ninja.

They're almost always crippled or dead, though.

Complete adventurer, page 8. It's far less powerful than it appears on an initial read, because all of the good abilities can be used a combined (they share a pool) {level/2 min 1}+Wis times per day, which is pretty low compared to what a caster can do.

Well for us plebians who aren't part of the DnD masterrace, there is a Ninja class- which is essentially a 'Just Better' rogue.
Most people play it now instead of rogue.

Nonono, ninja exist to wear bright red, carry bright red guitars, be easily identified by the color of their headbands, hold their swords backwards, claim to be ninja and then never engage in any covert ops, and/or use weeaboo fightan magic. Steampunk optional.

I'd totes be willing to play a ninja bard so long as no one else asked how the magitech electric guitar ended up in a low-fantasy setting, nor how I managed to attach an at-will ventriloquism spell to it.

It's still stealth if the entire castle had their ears blown out, damnit.

More of a rage than anything, but wtf anyway.

I can't sleep because it's too hot. In Winter. In Wisconsin.

I have narrowed the likely culprit down to my mattress, which is... a mixture of foam and springs. The foam being on the top, just to trap ALL THE FUCKING HEAT IN THE WORLD so I sweat like a sweaty thing. It doesn't help I am unbelievably sensitive to warm temperatures.

I am now outraged by this, as the mattress was bought last year, at a fairly significant expense, and don't think it's reasonable to buy a new one (mainly because my wife earns all the pennies) so soon.

Being angry and hot is not conducive to sleep. I have ideas what to do about it, but fuck man this is frustrating.
