Cyber-bullying:  Another problem with that is it often goes beyond mere insult or isolated assholes.  It often involves dozens or sometimes even hundreds of people, for instance if you're gay, it's pretty easy for someone who doesn't like you to offer your identity to some random tribe of online homophobes.  There have been cases where kids were convinced to commit suicide, because they were harassed by literally thousands of people demanding they do so.  It can also translate into greater amounts of meatspace bullying than a person would normally face.  Then as others mentioned before, it's something that you can't as easily escape from, and can involve major privacy invasion and smearing in a format that is semi-permanent, the results of which can end up floating on a world stage for many years.  It's not always so bad.  Sometimes people are just overly sensitive or don't know how to walk away.  But sometimes it really is that bad.  And anyone who has been bullied knows that the physical wounds are the least of the experience.  It's your ability to have healthy and positive social habits and relationships that may never heal.

Even a single cyber bully isn't going to be stopped by simply blocking them. The lengths that some people will go, and the mobs they can gather, can really screw with people who are already emotionally unstable. It's rather sick that those with mental illnesses are among the more often targeted and bullies make it a game to get them to commit suicide. Then when people do kill themselves the mob continues hounding memorials pages and the like, making loved ones suffer by cheering for the death of the target.

Imo, it is never not okay to download music. Mostly because the non-pirated versions tend to not be free :x
