No, this is just a bit more obvious than normally.

I didn't think you could get much more obvious than having vaults full of treasure. I don't think even Trump has gone that far. Though we should probably be thankful; can you imagine the new microstate of Trump City? The horror...

Wait. The Church being elbow-deep in the economy is a new thing?
I guess it's more the economy being elbow-deep in the Church. What's next, Anglicans will be told that sweet light crude is an acceptable substitution for sacramental wine?

But that would be... paganism. After all, petrol is the blood of Mother Earth.  :P

So here's something kinda weird, kinda funny.

Watching a YouTube video. I see a button to turn on "interactive transcripts", basically subtitles using some sort of fancy voice recognition. They're mostly pretty terrible and inaccurate:

Voice: "I'm fine!"
Transcript: "pipeline"

But then I saw this:

Voice: "Oh my God!"
Transcript: "Almighty Allah"

I know "Allah" is just the Arabic word for "God", but still. The two phrases don't sound remotely alike, and yet they have roughly the same literal meaning.

Those have been around for a while now. One of my favorite hobbies when I'm bored is watching let's plays with those turned on. It can make a boring LP into a pile of lololol if the NPCs or the player are chatty enough.

I believe it's actually something they want to build into all newer TVs, if I remember correctly?
PLEASEGODNO!
Still possible to subvert. Just gotta open the casing, and find what looks like a camera.

Such a plan is likely to be highly illegal in most states, just like when they took down Big Cable. (For those who aren't aware, cable companies used to only allow 1 TV per hookup. If you wanted more than 1, you had to get a second hookup and pay for both. This was deemed illegal after a few years.)
Odd, that's what happened to me. My TV was hooked up to my parents box, but all of a sudden one day(same day, same hour, probably same minute I lost my internet service when the neighbor's router suddenly got a password) I had no TV service.

So while having a drink with some friends at a coffe place today I saw a bee (or a small wasp) on the table. It was quite oddly behaving. It was first rubbing itself with it's many legs before starting to buzz it's wings as if it's going to fly. But it didn't, it just kinda sticked to the table surface (which was clean) and flew somehow connected to it. The wierd flying (or surfing) continued until it reached the edge of the table when it promptly fell to the ground before climbing my bag. Still not sure what the hell was wrong with it :S

Caffeine is a much stronger drug when you're an insect. In fact, it's designed to kill them. Your little friend was probably f'd up on coffee fumes.

But almost no one was drinking coffe :S

The strongest thing nearby was some cranberry tea, and I'm pretty sure that stuff has more other bug deadly chemicals than caffeine :S

This time of year wasps are often found feeding on fallen fruit, which may be naturally fermenting. Maybe it was tipsy. Be warned though - drunk wasps can be highly agressive.

Much like drunk humans, but without hands and with only one weapon that can't really hurt you much.
