Isn't there something like warranty laws? Like, if they come and fix it and it goes bang in 3 hours, they need to come back and fix it again for free?

They'll fix it for free, in 3 days.  Unless we want to pay them to come out tomorrow.  Donno how that interacts with warranty laws.  Either way it means yet another day, likely more, of no ac. 

Part of the wtf is that these guys used to be very reliable.  We've worked with them in the past even on other properties.  And even recommended them to others.  It's almost like it's a completely different company than before, though the same people are doing the work.

Oh I guess in that case 3 days is reasonable, even with regard to warranty. Can't expect a service company to cancel their other appointments and let other customers wait to service you right away.

Comics?

Their first run was back in the early '70s, then rebooted several times through the '80s and '90s. Not terrible, but, uh, very comics-y.

Most comics were very comics-y back then... I remember reading an issue or two of that, it was pretty weird.
Kind of dark compared to a lot of the comics I remember reading at the time, actually. Although the issue I had was already very old by the time I wound up with it.

I mean when was the last time the USA had a race riot?

And sure the KKK is bad... But they aren't a political party who have legitimate power like in *redacted* and *redacted*

Full-on race riot with national guard and people dying?  In the nineties.  Tensions are extremely high in a lot of places tho'.

As for why we're "The most racist", US media is the biggest and loudest message in the world, so when our media reports on it, it gets blown hugely out of proportion.

Ye, loudest country maybe, but certainly not the most racist. A fair bit of places in the middle east and africa would fall into that description way better.
