I just remembered that I had a dream last night where natural gas was leaking up from under my desk. So someone accidentally lit it on fire, and then the whole area under my desk got charred. I was pretty mad.

I had like two more dreams, neither of which were less wtf, but I don't remember those right now.

I tried the trick where you develop a reality-check habit to trigger lucidity.  I counted my fingers several times a day at random for over a year.  Nothing ever came of it.

That's... not a working trick. Reading stuff is key, and easy. Read something, look away, read again. Does it match?

I personally found an alarm every two hours did wonders to get me into the lucid dreaming habit. Just enough to hit it and go back to sleep knowing it was a dream from the getgo to get the feel of it. Took me maybe three weeks with those two tricks.

I remember I had a dream a while back where I fixed a load of personal issues, and managed to find a way to glide through the air by flexing the right muscles. I was really sad when I realized it was all a dream.

Playing a league of legends bot game as Urgot, everyone is owning, and right when the Skarner says "first one to die is gay" I'm ambushed by mid and I die on the spot.  Everyone laughed... then I said "well what do you know, I'm actually gay O_O"  Dead silence the rest of the game.

Personally I would have taken them up on the original lawsuit, proved it false and collected the $20,000. Never make false claims when courts are involved, especially ones demanding money.

Unfortunately, people often hire lawyers because they say what the client wants to hear. Practicality doesn't factor into it much of the time. You've now got a popular, sympathetic (cancer and wildlife charity supporting) potential defendant. At some point, it might have been better to merely suggest an agreeable solution mutually beneficial to both parties. It would appear "The Oatmeal" wants to make sure his stuff does not appear on "FunnyJunk.com" etc. It would appear "Funnyjunk.com" does not want "The Oatmeal" talking about them. So trade. Funnyjunk makes a conscious and real effort to remove content from its site related to Oatmeal Products, including searching for said content once a week. In return, "The Oatmeal" removes all references to "Funnyjunk.com" from his site.

In other, simpler words, it's a mutual agreement to take crap off of websites. Win-win?
