  I get that the whole gastly affair would leave some of the more sensitive  souls weezing for air and spilling their drink in a rush to paint me as an oddish fellow ekans to an eggsecutor or something, but I assure you the truth is nothing so arcanine.

  To be honest, I like playing the tentacruel game of dvils advocate; and I like playing chansy.  To do otherwise would be to leave me a shelldar of a man.
What I am trying to say is that you dont need to be gravellar about it.  Im not holding such emotionally tangela actions against you.  I owe you no venomgnat.

Seems there is some big uproar about people making posts criticizing cops on twitter and facebook and getting arrested for them.

Almost every article I see on it seems to be making it look sympathetic towards the posters and that free speech is being violated and all that jazz.  But then looking closer into the articles these are not so much criticism as outright threats.  One person saying they will shoot the next cop that pulls them over, because the cops won't hesitate to shoot them.  Another saying they will destroy a police station...  And this is from an article that as far as I can tell is sympathetic to the posters.  I'd hate to see the stuff they omitted to fit their spin.

Maybe I'm not fully up to speed on free speech laws but I doubt open threats are protected by free speech, no matter where you post them, and especially after shit has been going down.  And while I don't do twitter or facebook myself a friend who does was outraged at the violation of free speech as well until he looked more into it at my urging.

WTF thread is largely a discussion thread anyways, it's just that the specific topic is hot and the relevant thread is active.
