The research station should be complete this turn, have them begin working on a new project which should greatly speed up the work of my other scientists. Have them begin working on 5 prototype V.I.'s (thank you Mass Effect) These are A.I.s that are not self-aware, but are intelligent and able to perform outernet searches easily (think of them as A.I.s with none of the downside of self-awareness or potentially going rogue). These V.I.s should also be capable of defending themselves from threats (i.e. power-hungry A.I.'s *stares at Alpha*) Get an estimate on how long these superior intelligences will take to develop.
Set spec-ops units to anti-spy activities, have them hunt down any potential spies. Capture, do not kill the spies. Once we begin capturing spies, make press releases showing the under-handed tactics of the UPA. After a few days, let them go on Anon's world, the UPA can pick them up if they care about their spies.
Realize I never got an estimate on my ion grenades, get an estimate on how much longer the Ion Grenades will take to develop.
Next project after the testing of the CZ-scanning A.I.-murdering virus is done is a hyperspace inhibitor. Basically, it forces ships out of hyperspace so that my navy can make sure they are carrying no contraband or spies on board. Get an estimate on how long this will take to finish, or if it is even possible.
Also have a talk with my economic and cultural adviser. Figure out the new Human/Vasari(name of my race) make-up of our empire. Determine how effective our new business grant program has been, and get a reading on the state of the economy. Revise the budget to update these new figures and take a look at how much money I have left/now. (please put all those actions in a PM)
Also, have a "State of the Collective" speech in which I cite all the triumphs of the Ghostfang Collective in recent months. This should be an uplifting speech which encourages the Collective's citizens into supporting their government even more. Also address any problems that might be going on within the Collective and cite steps we are taking to relieve these problems.
