Only 3X3? Are you sure monsters will even spawn in a room that small?

Any themed locations? Volcanic caverns, hidden necropolis, underground fortress of the dwarves?

I'm really not sure. Probably? It's actually 3x3x3. I think I've seen mobs spawn in smaller locations than that in caves, but I haven't actually tested this so I maybe making things waaaay too easy.

It's just than when I imagined a dungeon I thought it was going to have three wide hallways and at lease 9x9 rooms. :P

You apparently think of dungeons as less claustrophobic than I do.

I think I'll run a quick test to see if monsters spawn in 3x3 rooms. If they don't, I may need to make some adjustments.

Dungeon makers can use whatever tools they want. Just let people know so they can be suitable impressed. If you use tools or hacks we expect more impressive stuff out of you. :P

Hmmm. Looks like 3x3 isn't necessarily a problem, but might reduce the amount of spawns total. I think I'll still need to do my test just to see how often I get spawns in practice in a dungeon.

His blog update said "Minecraft Alpha 1.2.1, Minecraft Server 0.2.3", so I assume it affects Alpha as well.
