Get the fish to behave in a way that it'll end in him being eaten by some larger fish that we can controls. Also, release spores in the blood, so that when they got dispersed on the ground when the fish is ripped in part by a shark.

Evolution; REVENGE OF THE PLUMP HELMET MEN!!!!1!1!111!011!0

That is what we have been aiming for this entire game.

Also, release spores in the blood, so that when they got dispersed on the ground when the fish is ripped in part by a shark.

We don't have spores, we have poison tentacles which desposites our young into the host, which is why we are currently on a fish, controlling it.

Grow roots into the digestive system of the fish and leach off of it.  Don't take everything though.

We still have leaves. We don't need to leach anything off of it. (Besides its free will.)

Use our roots like tentacles, and dig to the brain, where we can control it directly.

You swim around, trying to make your fish eat things. However, three problems quickly arise.

1. You control over the fish makes it very hard to actually bite things when you want to.

2. It's a jawless fish. It feeds by leaching off of other fish's blood. It can't actually eat anything bigger then it.

Therefore, most of your time is spend making the fish swim around, trying to get eaten.

Currently, its not working.

Size: 5, Food: 6/6, Rest: 10/12

Use our roots like tentacles, and dig to the brain, where we can control it directly.

Already done. It's how you are controlling it.

Hmm, would it be possible for us to specialize into controlling this species of fish, and effecting evolutionary changes in the fish? forming a bi-genetic organism?  Or are we past that point, where we should just try to infect something bigger.

We have no points to specialize with.

Have the fish swim in a large circle and eat whatever you can along the way.

I didn't mean have the fish hunt, I meant have the fungus hunt with its tentacles.

You mean infect then.

What do we even look like at this point? It is a fungus, with tentacles and a brain, sitting on a fish mind-controlling it. I say we make ourselves as ridiculous looking as possible.

Being throughly bored riding on your fish, you begin to infect other fish, so you can start evolving already.

You can specialize two different cells, add two new organs, and improve 3 cells/organs.

What do we even look like at this point? It is a fungus, with tentacles and a brain, sitting on a fish mind-controlling it. I say we make ourselves as ridiculous looking as possible.
