And then they re-introduce Scrappy.

Thousands mourn.

He is immediately sent to a farm in Kansas.

 Everyone cheers.

I don't think they'll introduce Scrappy, the viewer base might drop by 100%.

They may introduce him as a joke, the joke being they immediately get rid of him and say keeping him would be a bad idea.

Why do people hate Scrappy?

I remember when I watched the first Scooby-Doo movie,

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

But yeah this looks pretty cool. The fact that there's actual character development is kind of creeping me out though; I had convinced myself that A Pup Named Scooby Doo would be the height of the show, with the possible exception of the movie with the Loch Ness Monster. Seeing this just throws my whole world view into question. Also, what the hell happened to the town? Screw Crystal Cove, bring back Coolsville!

Crystal Cove is much more awesome, where everyone is looking for profit and not even the law can stop them.

Also i thin Shaggy is my favourite so far, the man likes comfortable pants and there's no arguing that

Crap, I think I'm gonna have to watch more episodes. I've only seen the one with the crazy prom girl.

The problem was, in the episodes where Scrappy first appeared, he was the only halfway competant one in the team.

Which kindof spoilt the point.

Scrappy Doo can just die. His catch phrase is grating as well.

I watched a few episodes and your right, I really like this.

I especially like it how action packed running away is relative to the standard boring that usually accompanies a miss trap event.

The only parts I don't like are Shaggy and Velma's romantic relationship ONLY because it seems not only forced but contrived. Not because it has never been there before but because there doesn't seem to be a reason for it to exist... Shaggy isn't dashing or charming and Velma doesn't seem to even find him dashing or charming... It seems more like a crush relationship then a true relationship.

New Fred is amazing.
"Oh, would you look at the time!"
"Fred, you aren't wearing a watch."
"I guess I'd better go get one then. Bye!"
Smooooth.
