Man, the RNG sure doesn't like me today. First four characters met their ends by a disciple, on the first to third day.
Course, this new character sure makes up for it! It's currently day seven. It took me a little longer (day five) but I made it to the police station. I would make it a base of operations, but it's too close to the map edges. It's one of my general rules to not setup bases near the edges of a map (zombie spawn point). Unless of course if the entry zones are not close to the edges but rather on the opposite side, than maybe. Than again, no place is truly safe from zombie hoards. Though, being safe is never fun.
Anyway, I managed to kill the bunny in the PS on the sixth day. It was a very close call. I made it out with only two HP left! My companion and various prisoners who I later killed via atom smashing (cell closing) >:3 helped greatly. Anyone not with me is a liability. You know Rougejacked should really do something about police men. The ones in the PS stay in there until they starve to zombification (I set mine to a 50% chance). Another strange thing is that my companion seems to have started with an extra skill. Though, it's only one so it's no big deal.
Epic, nice upgrade from a regular pistol. Hits high and since light pistol ammo comes in boxes of 20 bullets you won't run out as fast. Found mine in a gun store, I ran out and a gangsta started attacking me so we had a revolver shootout, he lost.
Personally I don't like the kolt. It's bulkier on the inventory system. Sure it's a little more accurate but I'm more comfortable letting my firearms gobble up ammo to save space.
