Jon cancellations are still turned off.
...great. Who did this? Let me shake his throat for his good work.
I would like to join in, for great pleasure, too. X3

job cancellations are turned off and all death items are forbidden by default except for dwarven corpses.

It's not my fault that warnings go unheeded!   :P  Besides, it was that or having the announcements page completely filled with 'Tupu cancels pickup equipment: too injured.  x439'

Or kill Tupu, I guess, but I couldn't do that.

No fucking idea. My best guess would be that somebody modded elves so that they would die when entering the screen.

Fun part being that in Failcannon this dosen't even need a mod.

Actually, you know what, jot me down for another turn of this madness. Let's hope our population will have risen by a bit till then and I'll be able to actually get something done.

20 FPS? Holy fuck, you have a computer from the future. I only got 14-15... :(
pfft.  Check my FPS when I was running the pumps and flooding the landscape.  I call my computer "The Secret Project."

(Because it is liable to malfunction horribly and kill us all.)

Also: YAY I survived assassination.  Still have a shot at being the doom of failcannon then.  Where were the Kobolds that they were able to shoot me, anyway?  Also... what version did this start in, that Kobolds survived world-gen?

Oh this - the water does it.  The (I think two?) times the flood system has been deployed, it pushes everything to the extreme edges of the map.

If we ever want to actually kill anything with it, we should dig some channels or pits, and, most importantly, build the reservoir up a few more Z-levels.

Because I want in on this clusterfuck.

As a player, just to clarify.

This:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If it's hard to read, purple figure is where Catalyst enjoys having some strolls, the green square is the zone(3 z-levels below) where the kobolds appeared, and the red square is the evidence of the plot: steel arrows!

Also, seems that Catalyst will be the mayor of Failcannon until its death, because it doesn't have any friends because it's an enemy of the civilization whose mayor it's himself, who doesn't have any friends, so he couldn't be the mayor of the civilization he's at war with because he does't have friends to support him because he is an enemy to their civilization...So, in consequence, he can't be deposed as a mayor, neither put into a military squad of the civilization he isn't part of.
It all makes sense now.

Also i think he's the one who spooks the workers that are working in the windmills and in the physical representation of my ego that i'm building over the lakedrilling project.

Oh gods, is she walking on the walls, again?  I thought I had put an end to that.  Anyway, if it gets her sniped by Kobolds, that may be the only way to depose her from her status of tyrant-mayor-madwoman.

Well, Darvi, Gizogin is disputing you the title of luckiest SOB of the fortress.
Why? Because he somehow found a path to the quarantined part (¿?) of the fortress, ultimately getting to Lordslowpoke's old quarters. Where, if I didn't say before, there were 2 FBs happily enjoying the commodities of such quarters.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
But, this guy, instead of dying like a good Failcannon dwarf, just peppered the one which reacted with bolts until he ran out of them.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Then, he went for more. Just because. It seems, that for this guy there is no overkill, just "Open fire" and "I need to reload" (Sorry Serg. Schlock author)

In other order of things, I reclaimed the forges. YAY
And my first spring came, without finishing anything of my schedule. F**K
