The AI in my game is derping out.

See, there are three armies: 2100 of guy 1 in one province, 700 of guy 1 in an adjacent province, and 1100 of guy 2 in a province adjacent to both of the other provinces. Guy 1 is at war with guy 2.

So, guy 2 sees guy 1's 700 army and goes "murderdeathkill" and moves for it. Guy 1 sees this and moves the army towards his 2100 army, and moves his 2100 army towards his 700 army.

Guy 2 goes "OH SHIT" and stops. Guy 1, seeing no more trouble, stops moving his armies.

And then the cycle repeats. Again. And again. And again. With nobody fighting another at all. Sigh, AI, why you so dumb?
This happens a lot.

It's fun abusing the AI like that so you can get to sieges first and get all the sweet, sweet money. Probably the only reliable source of income for a count or poor duke besides rich people shuffling off the mortal coil in your court.

Woot clawed my way into Emirship from Shiekdom.  Protip previous emir of Timbuktu, when you torture one of your Sheiks to the point of cutting off his fucking hand, HIS SON MIGHT HOLD A GRUDGE.

I am kind of in a shitty situation at the moment. Because my king died before my Heir could come of age, I had to get a regent. My regent, Count Rodger of the Isle of Man, also happens to hate me somewhat. But its not like he would try and kill me, right?

Well, then I got three events happen to me. During the first one, my regent had me clean the roof of his castle (How he got me to do that I don't even know), which wasn't too supicious. What caught my eye though was the chance that I could die. A 20% one to be exact. After quick saving (Due to not wanting to die at the hands of what seemed like Random event) I tried it and survived. Then another event happened where I got lost in the woods over in Ireland (My Guardian was based there at the time), with another 20% chance of death. After trying that and surviving, I noticed that the event that came after I tired it said that I saw bandits in the woods. My Suspicion rises. Its when the third event, where my regent had me go on a Carriage dangerous ride on the side of a clift which went out of control (Which gave me the wonder option of "*Scream like a girl*"), that I realized. The Carriage rider had a look of disappointment when I didn't die. My regent was trying to kill me.

Help guys? Please?

That's the "Regent is trying to kill me" chain of events. Just keep going through them untill you, hopefully, survive. The final event is the regent trying to kill you himself with a knife and the guards catch him.

So, my little mayor of my shitty-city in connacht was backing a plot to slit meh throat and I simply asked him to stop backing it...and... he was like all "oh, ok, that sounds good man; I'll get on that!" and suddenly he loved me...

does this normally happen? (just started playing)

When you ask someone to to stop supporting a plot they get a +50 bonus to their opinion of you, both to simulate their shame of being found out and to make sure they not just automatically join up again (unless they really, really hate you I guess)

Also, if I remember correctly, you randomly get the chance to kill that bastard when your pretending to be a knight and he's leaning dangerously close to the balcony.

Haven't had that kind of luck recently. In a recent game I married one of my daughters to the Byzantine Emperor. Then I found out that the emperor wanted to kill me (she hadn't even had any children yet so this made no strategic sense though I suppose you could fluff it as us meeting and him just hating me as a person) and I had to spend far too much time getting all my unimportant vassals to stop backing the plot. You'd think that you could just imprison anyone who's conspiring to kill you, but nope. Then my daughter died in a suspicious accident, and he still wanted me dead. Fuck byzantines.

Start in Ireland, slow down the time if it's going to fast, and remember to pause and that you can set which messages pauses the game (I, for example, has set the game to pause whenever a unit reaches it's destination).

Definitely alter what pauses the game. I don't really know why winning or losing a battle or a siege doesn't pause the game by default, but oh well. Be a count or duke.

That's not the problem i can pause the game and i have all the game i need. The thing is that only for going through all the relationship i would need whole day. I guess i have to let things just happen a go with the flow.

So I recently learned about how pressing F10 lets you screencap a map.

Spoiler: Warning: Large (click to show/hide)

Year is around mid-late 13th century. Poland rolfstomping Heathens and completely fucked Iberian crusades ho! I was playing Broken Kingdoms mod, if you were wondering why the Bzyantine Empire and Holy Roman Empire are absent. If your wondering about anything, please ask.
