So, if you're new to the Eternal Halls thing, here's a link to the OP.
Dadamh is long gone and the new version came out, so I decided I was going to bring it back and keep the true spirit of The Eternal Halls going. I've decided I'll have you guys pick what we should do with it instead of being unfair and picking one myself.
If we go with starting anew, I'll start, but if we go with getting the old save I think Tack was up for it.
So what'll it be?
We're going with 2010.

I want second turn. Also, I vote new 40d. Look for one with 200+z levels for fun and Fun, and gabbro, marble, and adamantine. And lava. Plenty of lava. A volcano might work.

You should go ahead and use the 2010, since 31.09 should be out tomorrow(?), and that will mean most of the military and unkillable bugs gone.

If .09 does have most of the bugs fixed go ahead with that, for more precise world gen control, and the speed. But crossbows are a must. Again go for a 200z 4x4 embark.

I would like a significant above-ground water source, river/stream/brook/lake/ocean/aquifer/whatever, but something where we can play with lots of waterwheels.  Also, I know it is hard to guess, but somewhere with windspeed enough for windmills would be nice.

We need more powah capt'n!

And I've always wanted to make a succession game.  But I've been trying to either get my current masochistic aquifer/salt water/no trees streak out of the way first, or come up with some combination of terrible site and weird mods and force everyone to enjoy my terrible decisions.

If you're using 2010, you should be aware that there's one new military bug, and it's a hell of a whopper.

Your military and animals are automatically hostile to caravans. Uh oh.
