With this new update, it could be fairly possible to do a Monster Hunter game, sorta. Well, once other features get implemented.

I'll select play now, hunt some cute little foxes or something, wear them, move onto bigger stuff, make armor and weapons from their corpses, and yeahh. Sounds fun.

Though, dragon leather is probably not that strong. =/

Too bad reactions suck at working with leather and clothing. We will have to wait a while until it works better.

Yeah, I know. But I'd just feel badass walking around with a dragon bone katana/longsword, and Hydra skin armor, with a giant's skull as shoulderpads. >_>

I posted this in the other thread about this, but I'd still really like to see someone put these into the game:

Reactions I would like to see:

Stitching together skins/hides/fur into clothing.
Sharp rock + Bone = Rock-tipped spear
Rock + Rock = Chisel
Chisel + Bone = Bone armor/Sword
Chisel + Skull = Bone helmet
Stomach = Waterskin/Backpack

That way "play now" characters could become... murderous.

We probably really won't care that much...for now we'd just be happy wearing a 1000 year old dragon's  helm, armor & cape set.

Hmm, what are the reaction RAWs for this? Would like to try myself. Oh...will they still be too big even when they're just made from small vultures or racoons?

Yeah, you're right. Besides, it'd be pretty cool to play as a farmer, and have a badass Dragon leather armor set on a stand in the living room. So your wife can tell your son that you kicked ass.

Then goblins can come kill your family, and you sally out in epic dragon armor.

Though, if we are allowed to have families for our adventurer's, I hope they're not as boring as everybody else.

childbearing with adventurers is right up my alley.
I would have told you how but to bad RuneSmith and slavery enhancer doesn't work with 10 maybe save swapping from .06-08 might work?
but then you might end up not getting any adv based reactions to work since you need to gen a world for them to count.

Or you could play a female...
Just like the traditional Dwarven Valkarie, giving birth in battle would just mean one more pair of hands/one more unit of throwing ammunition.
 
I really like the way this works. I made a hunter adventurer and was finally able to turn a considerable profit killing wolves, collecting the corpses, then butchering and selling them.
 
I'd always keep the skull, of course, and sometimes I'd eat the hearts, for courage. Next I'm going to have to try starving myself to butcher sentients.
 
Now I'm working on killing the fire-breathing lizard demon who rules the human civ. Only problem is that I seem to be causing a civil war. I walked into town after the fight and I found the farmers strangling each other and an axeman bifurcating a child. FOR FREEDOM!

@Rumrusher: I've seen the topics on how you can have a child in adventure mode currently. Thanks. ^^

But I'd rather wait til toady release an official version thing. It'd be cool, and have tons of other things to do with it.
