Well, would you care to define "Roll To Dodge," then? To be perfectly honest, I do not have a clear definition. As far as I can tell, the difference between "RTD" and other things one might call "forum roleplaying" is the use of a random number generator. (And even then, games blur things.)
Roll to Dodge is just a forum game. The Role Playing is 100% optional. You cannot call a RTD a RPG because it's simply not a RPG. The games may be similar, but they're just simply different genres. Also, you would only call role playing computer games RPGs. You'd call forum RPGs just forum RP or something to that extent.
If you called RTDs RPGs, then you'd be wrong since there's quite a few RTDs with little RP, and some with entirely none. This one is one of the ones with none, since... EVERYTHING is insanity and no roleplaying. Okay, there might be a little, but that's it.
I disagree with the real-time-strategy-to-roleplaying comparison, as those games have a larger number of differences in both content and means of interaction.
You said "Too bad; I'm playing a role and enjoying a game.". You stated that because you're roleplaying and enjoying a game it's a RPG.
And for the record, if I have something to say that exceeds expectations for "how much I may type," then I say it anyway. I understand people don't have to read it.
Dude, I'm not trying to fight over you posting a lot of text. I was just saying. Jeez.
