And there's chaos when push comes to shove, but it's music to my ears.

I like that guy's take on meditation. I should probably get back to that because fuck stress.

What's he attacked for this time? Is he getting called an "Islamophobe" again or what?

Everything. Glen Greenwald and his ilk are basically trying to censor him and have him banned from any media publication by re tweeting everything he says out of context. Last one they did said he was pro rape.

Whenever there's stuff that needs to get done, my mother always has to create this air of panic, exclaiming how we've got to hurry up and do this now or oh shit we forgot to do that. That just makes me stressed out and panicked, and then exhausted once I finally get everything done. And then... she declares that another thing must be done now! And she always has to explain every facet of every task to me no matter how routine it is, how many times I've done it over the years.

I just want to relax and not panic all day.

We all have our personal crusades. Not all of us bring them up every other day. I'm not constantly moaning about how TV Tropes is run by terrible, shitty people who shouldn't be supported, and that's brought up in these threads a lot more than MOBAs by people who aren't me.
I never knew.  Well, that gives me an even better reason to avoid TVT now.
Wow. That makes me feel... angry. I would make that a link to the trope page, but that would be just tacky.

GRAH CHRISTMAS MUSIC

I know, but its also <25 days left to Christmas, so there isn't any way to stop it.

Right then. After four years of intense Internet use, I have come to a conclusion.
Fuck Internet arguments. I am never reading them again.
Remember this? Well, for some reason, I find myself clicking on argumentative discussion threads due to reflex. Am I addicted to arguments even if I'm not participating in them?
I am annoyed and confused by this development.

It's something you really need to ease off of. You can't quite internet arguments cold turkey.
A good first step is simply avoiding comments sections, particularly youtube. I had trouble with that even, had to get a plugin.

Well, the good news is that my computer can't actually load Youtube comments. I'll try to avoid any other comment sections as much as I can, though. Thanks for the advice!

My flow general goes like this:

See evocative thread title.

Imagine the arguments being made.

Imagine the counter arguments I'd make.

Imagine the counter-counter arguments which probably encompass one or more debate fallacies.

Get tired.

Decide I'd rather read threads about games.

I suppose the reason I got so into internet arguments is that it's nice to be in a position when you know that the other arseholes are completely wrong. Look at that extremist! Isn't he a twat? Let's silently judge him for being a such a twat.
It creates a nice dynamic for your head where you feel really superior to everyone else. Unfortunately, it makes you also a twat and leads into thinking that the world consists entirely of unsolvable problems and idiots.

Erh...personally, when I argue, it's not to feel better about myself but to defend my viewpoint, and learn along the way.

Not a twat in the least. Nope :P

The thing is, I don't argue, I just watch. I don't even bother defending my viewpoint and never learn anything.
So I essentially am the twat in this situation. :P

The Grand Jury decision in the murder of Garner in NYC has me seriously fucking angry.
