Particularly when it eats that $80 game that you have the disk for.

Also, its not pirating if you remove the DRM on something you bought as soon as it came out, right?
I also need to stop pointing that out...

Shift+Tab. You can use the (AWFUL) browser, or use Steam's text chat.

Now have some fun.

How do I turn that off? It also happens to be a key binding for the map in KSP. I would just change the binding ingame, but it doesn't look like changing the key binding for that is an option.
You can change what key presses opens the steam overlay, I believe in Steam options.

So much idiocy in the comments. People seem to think that the heliocentric model is BS and that the planets trail after the sun. It's outstanding how people buy into this without thinking.

Yeah, bugnuts insanity

Any modification of the game code not explicitly permitted by the producing company could potentially be considered a violation of some anti-piracy law or another in the US. Only rarely do you ever "own" a game in the sense that you own a pair of shoes. You just have certain very specific rights to use the game in ways the producer outlines.

Specifically, tampering with DRM in any way is very suspect.

Unless someone can produce a JD degree, a valid Bar license, and prove several years recent work experience as an IP lawyer, I'd take any specific opinions on the matter with a very large grain of salt.

Isn't truean a lawyer or attorney? Maybe not an IP one though.

Yeah, but Truean hates being quoted and doesn't offer advice because of how laws can differ from area to area. So don't bother asking her :P

I guess you can blame all those images showing the planets in a line trailing the sun.

I have seen exactly 0 of those images, ever.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

You never saw those images of the sun, followed by out of scale images of planets (and sometimes planetoids or moons, or both) in the order that they normally are heading out from the sun?

If the showed orbit distances as accurate on the same image as showing planet radius as accurate, then either it wouldn't fit on one image, or all the smaller planets would be invisible / smaller than 1 pixel, and you lose the "relative size" information. So packing them all close together indicates relative size better than showing them in their correct orbit. Technically, even showing both planet size and orbital distance "to scale" is technically wrong, since that would implies that the planets are in perfect alignment. So you can see no pictoral representation of the solar system in something that fits on your screen will ever be good enough / accurate. And dumb people are easily influenced by pictures.

One guy I worked with believed teleportation was real, because he saw a TV news story about quantum teleportation, and they showed an apple having a laser fired at it, disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, so he thought they really had that tech, laser apple teleportation.

I explained to him, "dude, that's just special effects to illustrate the concept, not a real technology".

And he's like "how do you know it's not real? are you a scientist? well?".

I don't have to be a "scientist" to tell fantasy tech from real tech.
