Went down the street to get a couple of things (and a walk) before the shop closed, and came back to find the front door locked. Great.
Now I can either ring the doorbell and risk waking a screaming baby in the middle of the night, or wait out the front until my friend gets home with a key. Guess I'll be stuck out here a while- and I don't even have my headphones with me.

A teacher in my city went on a mission trip to Kenya, a country with 0 reported cases of Ebola. When she came back, some of the parents and staff urged the school to put her on a 21 day leave of absence as a quarantine because she was an Ebola risk. She tried to contest it and quit when she couldn't. I don't blame her.

Well you're in middle school (or european equivalent). Now's a good a time as ever to figure out what you're good at and what you're interested in. I think tu madre was just saying to get some feelers out and figure out some stuff. Don't feel rushed, though, just flow with it.

...Learn what? Anything? Pick up a hobby. Learn by doing. Do that thing for fun for years. Learn by doing that thing for fun for years. Easy.
