I didn't even recognize it as a joke until I'd reread it about five times trying to figure out what the problem was, and once I did I just kind of looked at it like it was a stupid puppy that peed on the floor. E: And not even the "Amused Exasperation at Young Animals" look. This is the "Contemplating Kicking the Puppy" gaze. Wasn't even amused by that sort of thing in grade school, especially in that sort of context :-\

Horrible as it is, I did, however, give a Snort of Amusement at this:

Puppy Protip: When puppies pee on the floor while you're around it's them trying to act submissively; so kicking it would just cement your dominance further and make it try harder to be submissive, probably by peeing on the floor more.

Not necessarily true. If a dog is trying to act aggressively/dominantly over you then you should do something about it; otherwise it may start being violent when it sees you as a well-established inferior.
