I figured it was because the server capacity is limited and gets bogged down quickly, leading to many of us being unable to connect.

Raeg: To get weather data, I need to sign up for the Weather Bureau's Electronic Requests site.



I tried to sign up for that site, but—

Same thing happened yesterday, too. And the day before. And there's no site admin contacts anywhere...

Also, data costs $3 default, and an additional $0.1 for each KB of data. I did find a clause that said that if a public school asks for information, they get the fee exempted. So I'm goign to go to my teachers tomorrow in hopes of getting free information to nom on.

So... We got an email today that cistac is revoking developers admin rights on our own machines... This will mean we can't install the software we use for our work. And that software may be automatically removed from our systems. These are the same people eating up over 4 gigs of our ram on virus scans and policy shit, so that our workflow is already compromised.

This is not an april fools joke. Our IT department is absolutely insane.

Clients. Fucking power engineers. They use our shop, and then leave it in shit condtion. And then WE get bitched at for not having a clean shop! They weld pieces of metal to the post so thhey can practice vertical up welding. Alright, I can understand that. What I do not understand, is them leaving the pieces there when they leave. Come the fuck on. Clean up your shit.

Note, I do not hate all power engineers. I just hate people that misuse our stuff.

My mother's solution to every sorrow in life seems to be meditation, yoga, running, and healthy eating.  I am starting to hate her.  There's always something she can get at me for, because I apparently am supposed to spend my time as follows:

8 hours per day schoolwork
8 hours per day exercise
8 hours per day sleep.

Maybe if someone listened to what the actual problems are and stopped trying to tell me that I don't know what I'm going through.
