New Zealand, Red King. New Zealand is not buried in snow (the north half doesn't really get any), has no dangerous animals, a amazingly accomodating climate, jungles, desert, snow capped peaks, open plains, white sand beaches with beautiful tropical cliffs, all within a day trip of perfectly comfortable suburban or urban living in a temperate climate.

It is Australia, if Australia was condensed into a tiny, tiny space and wasn't out to kill you.

Instead, it has Zealots.

Oh yeah, that's a new record for bad puns for me, I think.

Oh yeah, that's true about NZ. Although IIRC, New Zealand also has an incredibly strict immigration policy. Basically, if you're a doctor or do anything that involves horses, you're welcome. Otherwise, piss off unless you have a job already lined up.

Hate my tutoring job :/  It'd be fine if my school didn't insist on using a login system held together my duct tape and good feelings that could actually login within a few minutes instead of requiring its users to sit and watch it for 10 minutes or more, staring at a blank screen ._.

edit: sometimes I want to just quit my job, quit school, quit everything, and run randomly screaming into the woods.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

On the immigration policy - well, duh. Paradise won't be paradise for long if they start letting people in! Where would they put all the sheep and wilderness?

Residency doesn't require citizenship though, and is quite a bit easier - for that, all you need is money. ^_^

In my experience, (temporarily) running away screaming is quite cathartic.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Sharper knives help, too.

Worse case scenario: Wear a gas mask.

Are there any iPhone image editing apps that do anything besides photo touch-ups, image filters, or stupid blingee ripoff effects? Because I don't think there are.

Come on, man. I could definitely do at least pixel art on this thing.

For crap's sake, this kind of internet/security derpiness of absurditude is the US's job UN, stop imitating them. It's not helping.

So the problem with the internet is that it's too open? That's stupid.
It's like today when I was reading from a printout of the NATO phonetic alphabet and morse next to each other. Someone came up to me and said "What's the point of that code? Everybody knows it, you'd be better off making your own up." as if I was intending to not be understood.

I've had a sneaking suspicion that some of the things I have been working on were done completely wrong.

I have confirmed this to be true. This isn't a case of a bug in the code causing something weird to happen. It is a case that the code being used is completely and totally fubar wrong in every way. I have to cast out the whole thing and rewrite it from scratch, maybe thousands of lines of complex code dealing with over a hundred business rules arbitrarily yet meticulously assembled by the USAF for since 2005 or so with little documentation. I have until this Friday.
