What is the movie about? never really heard of it.

I can't really tell you that much, as I was only able to stomach about 30 minutes of it, which consisted of: repeated vertical shots of trees from the ground, a complete lack of dialogue, apart from one single line and a few single words, or plot development beyond one bit about a son dying when he was 19 that didn't go anywhere, a very long shot of a huge flock of birds over a city, choral music, and an abstract reddish blob on a black screen that mildly resembled a fetus, which was shown at for at least 3 extensive scenes. So basically it was trying really, really hard to be 'artsy' and 'symbolic' and 'meaningful', in the same way that movies about the Holocaust tend to deliberately try to be Oscar bait.

I did work in a small computer repair shop, but sadly the place went out of business.  Didn't charge much for most simple stuff, and little 10 minute things we actually didn't charge for at all.  The owner had a really good reputation partially because of that(probably also because we did good work imo).  Hopefully the tech shop you get is like that Euld.

Sadly the place went out of business because the owner had a stroke.  Coulda' kept going but the newest hire, who was a recommended employee from one of his friends of all things, grabbed all the money we had made for the 2 weeks he was in the hospital or otherwise recovering, and a few client laptops and ran off while the other employee on staff at the time got called off to a site.  Putting the nail in the business' coffin because building rent couldn't be paid and customers had to be reimbursed.   I guess that's a 6 month late RAAAAAGE.

Whole family has just been invading my privacy today, and getting mad at me for getting mad at them. Apparently, I'm not allowed to be angry when they walk into my room and go through my notebooks and journals.

I.. What? Seriously? How can they even justify that in their own minds?

Because it is my mother, and she refuses to be wrong on anything. She watches me while I sleep, sometimes, and gets mad at me when I tell her to fuck off.

Obviously they are trying to prepare you for a life of crime, by ensuring you never write down anything incriminating, like, gosh these people are douchey.

Pretty much every single "proffessional" I've taken something to have repaired, they've tried to do stuff I didn't want done and charge me for it. I remember I took my flute in once to... I think it was to have a rod reattached or something, and when I got the bill, I saw things like "polishing" and "pad replacement", none of which it needed, and it didn't look like they even did those things. Total bill was over $100 I think. I could buy a new flute for a quarter of that(I've seen them priced that low before)!
Yeah this would be exactly what I'm afraid of.  If a part isn't working, it could be $200 easy to replace.  Sure I do have the money, but I don't like losing that much all at once, especially if it doesn't solve the problem.

edit: uh oh.  This is bad.  Very bad.  My parent's computer is starting to have driver crashes.  Thankfully it looks like it can recover from them most of the time, but still.  It must be a virus or something, but we've done multipe virus scans using different programs, and none showed up.  Yeah this is bad.

Display drivers, I presume?
Try MalwareBytes, and if that doesn't pick up anything, update the driver to the most recent version from the manufacture's website. If that doesn't help, check what temperatures the hardware is running at. If the temperature is what's causing it, could either be failing cooling system of some sort or a case which can't get enough air in or too hot a room for it to dissipate heat effectively. If neither of those show anything out of the ordinary, check the power cables for any loose ones; and if none of the previous work, then you can be pretty sure it's very bad.

Also, might possibly be too much dust if its not any of that. one of my friend's computers almost froze because the intake fan was near-completely blocked by the stuff.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Yep, that would get caught when testing for temperature if that were the issue.

If it just started crashing recently, if it were temperature related one would also expect it to run fine for a while, then stop working when it heats up and no longer work until given a chance to cool down; with a much better chance of operating successfully at night or other cool times of the day.

If it's hardware related, either a failure of the card or a loose cable, it would be time independent for the most part.

Speaking of computers overheating, the laptop that me and my brother use when we can't use our respective PCs has an overheating problem, because if the battery (Which doesn't work very well, can't hold a charge worth a damn...) is in, that thing will overheat in 10 minutes, tops. Then again, the thing is, what, 5 years old? Probably has never been introduced to a can of compressed air..

Batteries eventually run out of rechargeability.

And this is, of course, some strange battery model they no longer manufacture.

I tell her to fuck off.
And here we have found the likely cause of your problems. If such words are used on your parents I can easily imagine a situation where there is enough cause for concern to violate privacy in favor of knowing what is going on. There is a level of tact needed when dealing with parents that mess up, which if misused leaves you as the one looking childish and untrustworthy, not even an adult who has a right to privacy.

Not that I'm saying you are immature enough in this situation to warrant that, but it's something to keep in mind. You need to be extremely careful about your responses when others mess up. It's very easy to flip who is in the wrong.
