My parents' house has Roadrunner.  It was really slow during peak hours and my dad raged and raged, he still doesn't fully understand that it's the internet making his Tibia slow and I have to explain to him each time we look at new computers that Tibia runs on smartphones now and there's no computer you can buy in a store today that won't run Tibia.  On the old computer he literally uninstalled everything unnecessary except for Tibia in the hopes of squeezing out every last frame-per-second in his 2d isometric MMO.  Yes, even Solitaire and Paint.

Damn this traffic jam! Imma rip off the doors to make the car lighter so it go fast!

*later*

Y U SO SLO CAR??!!

This is what I'm hearing.

Tibia
Just mentioning Tibia is enough to make me raeg. But whatever.

Once, my dad tried to get me to conserve hard drive space by burning everything to CDs. Only problems with that were, A) We had no blank CDs, and B) I had no burner. He still remained convinced that I could do it with a regular CD drive despite me telling him that it was impossible and exactly how it was impossible. Not to mention there was absolutely no reason for him to be wanting to conserve HD space, since he never actually used it. Although, now that I think on it, there was a time when my brother, for some dumbass reason, decided to make shortcuts to every single thing on the computer, shortcuts to those shortcuts, and then shortcuts to those shortcuts, and then he might have tried to run every single one of them at once. I think he almost broke the damn thing with that.

And believe me, that's just the tip of the iceberg on reasons why I never let anyone touch my computer.

Put it this way, anyone can freely shove anyone around.

Or at least, it was when I played it eons ago.

It's a free 2d MMORPG.  90% of the player population is Swedish and Brazilian, which isn't a big deal but don't expect most of the players to understand what you're saying.

This is Tibia:

To the swedes you must write "Skit ner dig själv" "Du är inte like bra som jag"

Those are the insults you threatened me with? Not very strong ones :P
Also it's "lika".

Dear sir, I beg to differ! If they are Swedish and school-aged, chances are they are very able to understand you indeed, if perhaps not as good at communicating in it themselves. We have a very high English literacy over here, after all. Well, in general, at least.

It's so hard to differ when it's Lige, Like and Lika. ;_; Also, du är för dålig för att kasta sten.

Swedish is a cutesy effiminate language, which makes it hilarious to swear in :D

Anyways, I know I'm not saying evul nasty things, but that's because I'm a sort of nice guy.

I feel the same way about Norwegian. They always sound so happy and cheery, and it seems impossible for them to sound angry. When a Norwegian shouts at you, all it does is give you this major feeling of "WTF?! You look angry, you're words are angry, but they're all coming out sounding like joy, flowers and bright skies!"

It makes no sense.

Wasted money and time to see Tree of Life, which has become the second movie I have ever walked out of (the first being Jurassic Park III). 2.5 hours of that pointless, high-on-its-onw-piss rubbish?  >:( Hah, no. I'll be at home surfing the web or watching more Macross or playing Terraria. Or raging because I just wasted 10USD on someone's film-festival-award-bait.

Finally broke down and brought my computer to a real computer fixer person to get it fixed.  Except I can't find the store apparently.  Drove up and down the proper street four times and couldn't find it.  And it was one of those roads that's lined with hole-in-the-wall stores and parking spaces too small for the trucks parked in them, so I had to watch for 1)the store I'm looking for 2)trucks sticking out too far 3)suicidal pedestrians bolting out between the cars at random 4)cars in the other lane moving into my lane to avoid hazards on their sides 5)cars trying to pull out without looking.  Quite definitely raging right now.

Pretty much every single "proffessional" I've taken something to have repaired, they've tried to do stuff I didn't want done and charge me for it. I remember I took my flute in once to... I think it was to have a rod reattached or something, and when I got the bill, I saw things like "polishing" and "pad replacement", none of which it needed, and it didn't look like they even did those things. Total bill was over $100 I think. I could buy a new flute for a quarter of that(I've seen them priced that low before)!
