+1 to everything Retro has said in this thread.

Also, don't feed the strong sense of morality and knowledge of philosophy.

What are EYEARMS?

Consider, before someone answers that question: Do you really want to know?

What are EYEARMS?

I cant find the exact quotes but I think it started when Armok was sorta bragging how he was so much in charge of his brain that he could make himself hallucinate, the example was that he could shift his prospective to his arms and therefor have "eyearms." The next post was someone saying "... Armok... everyone can do that." So he says "Well ya but who wants to go though a special class just to have a useless ability, it just came naturally to me." And the response was "Um... no, I meant everyone can do that because It is a basic ability to imagination." and than Armok said "NO ITS NOT! I AM SPECIAL!"

Of course there was more misspellings in the true thing from Armok but you get the idea.

I think that eyearms is a sort of idea that you could combine the sensation of touch and sight to gain an idea of what it would be like to be able to comprehend aspects of the world in which you do not currently sense, such as many-dimensional space. But I am probably confusing threads here. Eyearms have sort of become a running insult towards Armok(the forumite, not the deity).

Actually, it's just arms growing out of your eyes, like some sort of mutated deep sea fish. it's kinda creepy looking.

My superpower would be seeing the future. I would then commit suicide in the prologue, effectively setting off a series of events that eventually lead to the very future I killed myself to avoid.

That's what I think he means, though if your eyes are somewhere other than on your face, they wouldn't be as receptive and couldn't be processed as fast. I guess your physical perspective of the world would change, as I'd guess you normally 'anchor' yourself at where your face is.

Since I've thought of eyearms, I think of what it'd be like to have taste in your hands. You'd certainly be a lot less fat, though petting a cat would be absolutely horrible.

You know what it'd be like to have an eye on your hand? It'd be fucking horrible, stupidly painful, damn near useless and invite the hate and disgust of your peers.

Eat it, Emily Eyefinger.
