2 Years P.E. --

It has been two years since The Event, an indescribable happening that wiped out many of the earth's inhabitants and disabled many of the survivors, and three young friends have ventured out of their Safety Bunker for the first time in 30 months each striving for one thing: Survival. But who are these people? What is their history and what do they look like?

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

I think that it would be a good idea for them to be robots, seeing as no normal human could possibly survive the harsh environment we are about to embark in.

How do you know it made the ground hazardous?
It is quite evident that anything that wiped out all humans and has stopped humans from exploring for two years has made the environment hazardous.

Most of the Humans are either Middle class workers or Military, and robots are just sentient AIs and Combat AIs.

They all live in a isolated small town in the middle of nowhere where The Event somehow missed it.

Actually I changed my mind.

I describe my character as  This Guy.

The name is Jack Anderson.


If not, my character use to be a car mechanic, after the cataclysm hit he grabbed what he could get and ran to the bunker. When everyone emerged he felt like scavenging, but is also a bit of the fighting type.

My character is a sentient AI that was once the bunkers life support, however, they ran out of food so the AI built itself a body. This body is humanoid shaped and made out of vaarious different metals found around the bunker.
