My Hero left Slaves to Armok to intern in some other, not-as-cool guild.  I am disappoint.

Sorry for the necro, but just started getting interested in this game.  I see there are not many members in Slaves to Armok.  Is this still the main DF guild?  My character will be able to join guilds in a couple levels, and it would be cool if there were some active DF players in the game to add as friends.

I understand you can influence your hero to join specific guilds and to stay in them, so if there is an interest within the community we should be able to get a good sized guild up.

Your guy can randomly leave the guild for no reason while you're sleeping or working which is annoying.

you're supposed to be able to make him abort his quest if he has decided to join another guild.  With the speed at which my hero quests, it shouldnt be too hard to keep him in a guild by checking on him a couple times a day.

and if you stay in for 45 days, you should hit a rank that will stop him from randomly trying to leave.

I dont know about any of this first hand, I was just reading about it on the wiki.  I probably wont even be at a level that I can join the guild for another day or two.

I don't want to check several times a day to see if he is being an idiot YET AGAIN and trying to leave his guild...

so it looks like those guild joining quests can be really slow, i've seen one take like three days.  you have plenty of time to cancel it if you want to stay in the Armok guild.

I feel so cruel. I just got back to this and noticed my hero has been dead for a looooooong time and did several adventures while I was doing godlike things (IE being a nonexistant bastard).

Had some fun at the 'Boatmurdered.' Spent 74 coins. <---- Gave my hero my blessing for this.

Came back 15 months after making an account and not playing too much..
had lots of money and items, but was attacked by a random adventurer, who just barely beat me. Darn! :(

I'm playing Godville since one year and really love it. The developers are adding more and more features: https://wiki.godvillegame.com/History

Found one of your guys in the daily newspaper:
Quote
Harold Groebal — 140th-level adventurer, member of the “Slaves to Armok” guild, with the motto “∞ Keep on truckin'! ☾”, stands at the 17th position in the pantheon of mastery under the vigilant supervision of the god Vorpal. He's asking someone to find the difference between pie and pi and report the results via express mail.
