AN END TO TREES!
Just a quick question though, am I reading it right that CaptainKobold worships Ass?

Well, good news and bad.
Bad: Desktop broke. Had to repair it. Could not play df until it was repaired.

Good: I lost no data, and I somehow have an extended warranty.

So, I'll continue this city now...

Hey guys, let's check on 'CaptainKobold'.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, Mello died from a failed mood a short while back.

Work continues on expanding the city, I built a 2 warehouses for storing food, and have begun expanding the city northward.
There, a small park will be built.

Thanks to the new releases, I can now set up a military. Calling all willing dwarfs.

Name:  Zasper Goldscapels

Profession:  The Very Good Doctor

Aspiration:  Believes that all humans and elves are dwarfs with the disease of elfism or humanism. Humanism can be cured, as humans can grow beards. Elfism cannot, for elves have no beards. Elfism must be purged.  Humanism can be cured via removal of legs below the knees, and either the growing of beards or the suturing of kittens to the upper mouth area.

Wishes to experiment on humans and elves to find "the true cure".

Likes: Miasma for it's researchful purposes.

Dislikes:  Tall folk.

Personality: Very cheerful and humane. Basically the best doctor you can find in every way accept his view on humans and elves, which is entirely medical. Approachable guy. Can work hard and long.

The Very Good Doctor.

Would you like some beer with that order?
Seriously though, he's content with his diligent life in the big city.

Well, Tuxman, I don't have any good doctors. Just a mediocre, full time doctor.
I guess he'll have to fly, unless you object. And, he is a she.

I am glad to announce that the plumbing system has been thoroughly tested for many hours in Tiristthad, and everything is in working order.
(YA, I LOVE FLOODING STUFF!)

Plans shall go along with the production district.

We still haven't struck magma, which just sucks 'cause there's tons of ore here to be smelted, and trees come in limited supplies.

Spoiler:  Success (click to show/hide)

This worthless artifact is not the success, the successful mood is.

Work continues in the city.
This includes some paving in the sewers, bringing plumbing to other parts of the city, constructing stuff, and finding garbage for the traders.
It's already Autumn of year 2, you know.

Oh ya, almost forgot. One of the dwarfs want to share a little story with you guys.
Quote from: Reg Uristegast
There was 20 of them I tell ya. Big ugly brutes escaped from the underworld. They had talons like swords and beaks like hammers. And they stole all our food too, they did.
Quote from: Tun Eribdeduk
Dude, they were buzzards, and they only stole 5 strawberries.

Those buzzards that escaped last time decided it would be fun to bring their friends to their final resting place.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In that screenshot, you see a new warehouse, an empty lot right above it, part of a model ship, and the bottom left corner of the production district.
I've also added a path, the part you can see at the top of the screenshot, that acts as the only possible entrance to the Microline tower.

And, somewhere above the food filled warehouse, the plumbing is being expanded.
So far, the system is only able to handle one output at a time.
I plan to change this once enough trees grow back. (Yes, almost no trees are left ^_^ )

If anyone wants a dwarf, I have many vacancies.

We have 4 breaches. One in the model ships's lower deck, 2 near the apartment's drainage, and 1 under the farm plots.

How can a 2 man militia possibly wrestle a huge flock of buzzards to death before they steal all my food?
I have no clue, but all except one buzzard got away.

It's already winter, and the ponds are starting to freeze over.
I'm beginning to wonder if I overlooked the possibility of my plumbing system freezing solid.

Hey, anyone want to be my army general militia commander?
As in, that dwarf being theirs.

Spring marks the end of the year before, and the beginning of the current year.
Year 2 was full of fun and progress, year 3 is full of work and planning.
