*Updated* 0.31.12v01
Fixed some minor graphical glitch on the pikes.
Changed the graphics for merpersons & swordfish.
Added graphics for the buzzard, coelacanth, conger eel, giant grouper, giant scorpion,  great barracuda, most *mans, most sharks, sea lamprey, vulture, whale & yeti.

Hmm, it doesn`t work for me. It crashes every time when i try to launch it, vanilla 31.12 works fine.

Hmm, it doesn`t work for me. It crashes every time when i try to launch it, vanilla 31.12 works fine.
I presume you used the pre-installed package.

First, check if all of the files are where they should be. There should be 31 items in the root, and 63 items in the raw/objects directory. There has been reports of occasional missing files, don't let it happen to YOU!

Second, try to change [PRINT_MODE:STANDARD] to [PRINT_MODE:2D] in data/init/init.txt to see if that fixes your problem. (Vanilla is set to 2D) If that fails, try to change [GRAPHICS:YES] to [GRAPHICS:NO]. (Yes, I'm aware of how pointless that sounds, but we're trying to find the source of the problem.)

Third, crash report. Post the content of errorlog.txt here (inside a SPOILER tag please), if the game crashes before it even gets a chance to create an errorlog.txt, then try write everything that's going on when you start the game including the crash error message.

Hehe, setting the print mode to 2d worked. Nice support. ;)

However, 2d makes my game unbearable slow. 100 FPS instead of my usual 190 upon embark. I guess i`m spoiled.

Are you sure your max FPS is higher than 100?  Remember you just installed a new .ini.

Downloaded the pre-installed package, game didn't load with error about item_food_mash.

Edit: thought there was something wrong with the raws, but they look the same as the .12 main release.  Not quite sure how file modification times going backwards works..

Hey, by the way Phoebus, could you make your savegame_updater (perhaps optionally? or another .bat) DELETE and THEN replace the savegame graphics folder? This would make it useful when changing tilesets, otherwise you get graphics from multiple packs piling on top of each other.

Updated the DF_savegame_updater again.

1. Replaced the 'choice' (which is only a valid command in Win98 or Win7 it seems) with a 'pause'. The user must now press Control-C to cancel the update.
2. The original updater did not delete (and still doesn't delete) the raw/objects to preserve the integrity of the savegame. Each save has reference to objects defined in the raw/objects, if those object definitions are deleted the savegame will crash on load. So I just overwrite the default raw/objects with updated ones (preserving custom raw/objects from mods), and completely replace the graphics directory (which is completely optional.)
