We should've all inspected the same person last Night. It maximizes our role knowledge.

I'd also like to let you all know that worst case scenario, we're at lylo tomorrow.

Okay, last question: what happens when a stoned cop gets insanitized?

They are stoned still, but that night they act as though they are whatever sanity the insanitizer chooses.

Should we be doing this tonight then? If so who do you suggest?

No, doing that tonight makes us lose information, such as who is a poisoner. I think we just continue as usual. We just play like a normal game today and tomorrow with extra info.

Also, since when did the Insanitizer change sanities to a chosen sanity?!?

Insanitizer sounds like it makes people insane, but he/she chooses what sanity to make the target that night, but can only choose random once.

It's always been that way, I just used a misleading name for it.

Well, screw this, we might as well play regular mafia. Our roles aren't revealed on death and even if you learn your role, the only one we need is the poisoner, who may or may not be...

Well... We could rescan our same targets. That way, we can figure out: a) who was insanitized (possibly), b) who's will be insanitized, and c) who's poisoner.

It's stupid, on account of the whole cops thing, but look at the setup and tell me you can win with a spreadsheet.

Seriously, extend the day and play it like a mafia. (Also, pretend that extend is bolded.)

I wasn't the one who actually made the setup, but one thing I did want to avoid was being able to win with just a spreadsheet.  I would of shot for some amount of spreedsheet usage, but if I had to choose, I'd lean towards craziness over certainty since too much craziness means you're playing mountainous while too much certainty means you're playing accountant. I dunno about you, but accounting is hella boring.

Words words words!

Seriously, extend the day and play it like a mafia. (Also, pretend that extend is bolded.)

This. Extend.

Bandages/color], why have you been talking so little?

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Well, Mr.Person, it seemed like there wasn't a whole lot to say so far. There is (was?) no point in scumhunting this first round, since we were just getting info on what people's inspections revealed.

If it is so unsettling, I will make sure to post more in the future, even if I have nothing to say ^_^

Where does it say no role flips?  RedWarrior, can you clarify this, please?  At least alignment will flip, right?

In any case, we need to figure out what the scan pattern will be for the night.  Everyone scanning the same person is a 10% chance of a hippy insta-win.

Double A, what do you think the best plan for scanning is?

Personally, I think too strong of a planned scan gives the scum more power to screw with it and muddle our results.  We could go with Lonewolf's plan to resolve the Org question if we didn't want to lynch him today for the information.

Bandages, that's a bit scummy.  Scum hunting always has a use, and more discussion is always good.  Meaningless posts aren't helpful either.  Poke, prod, and question those who don't measure up!  Since I have your attention, what's your take on the knowledge we have?

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.
God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

There is (was?) no point in scumhunting...

Fuck it, I give up. We've already lost.

Don't you dare ever even to THINK that sumchunting has no point. That's the equivalent of going to war, placing out a bunch of mines, then not bothering to pay attention where the enemies are. It WILL bite you in the ass. You can not just rely on the cops in the setup to find the scum for you. It doesn't work that way. They're so far from foolproof that it's sad.

@criptfeind: I mean it'll say "Cop has died." Instead of showing sanity.

@Bandages: but, why would you say that? There's plenty of reason to scumhunt. Did you think it was entirely possible to win otherwise? Because I can tell you one thing: Mr.Person did not.

Looking back on the whole thing reveals that Mr.Person was entirely fine with NLing yet affirms my suspicions that the game is nearly unwinnable with logic only. He should've known this all along as well, seeing as he helped create every role and has a great knowledge of how this game should be played. Did you just forget this, Mr.Person?

Ironically, he would also know he's Stoned, based on the presumption that there is two neutrals (Is the Hippy a survivor/sk as well, or what? Because that's a bit unfair. 6 town vs. 2 mafia vs. 2 third parties... Meh) and one of them makes a person get a Neutral result regardless, he should know with certainty that he was Stoned.
Based on this, I'd reckon he's non-Town aligned, and more than likely a Survivor, which is pretty much Mafia at this point.

So, I've made my point about this game, get everyone else in here.

First thoughts: Fuck.

Second thoughts:
Personally, I think too strong of a planned scan gives the scum more power to screw with it and muddle our results.

That seems like a bad idea to me, won’t a well planned out scan give the scum little to no wiggle room? It will certainly help us find out who is lying later in the game.

Bandages, that's a bit scummy.  Scum hunting always has a use, and more discussion is always good.  Meaningless posts aren't helpful either.  Poke, prod, and question those who don't measure up!  Since I have your attention, what's your take on the knowledge we have?

At first I thought this was pretty quick vote on bandages and just a bandwagon, but then I looked back and saw that you were in fact on of the few people trying to scum hunt, so it seems within character.

Third thoughts:
(In other words, bet you a bunch of money I'm stoned.)

Is this admitting to being the hippy/a now survivor?

... What the heck are you talking about criptfeind?

Hippies turn people Stoned. They themselves are not cops nor do they realign people. Don't be stupid.
