I'm going to be gone on a cruise for the next 4-5 days (unless I decide to bring my laptop with me and they have Wi-Fi on it).

Is that all you've got to ask, a role question? No questions for any players? Not going to try and figure anybody out?

@Webadict: There's 10p. I want to NL to get in a situation where we don't have to identify the poisoner ASAP and can instead just inspect who we think is scum. If we lynch today, we have to plan it out so everybody has only 1 player targeting them for purposes of finding the poisoner. We just simply cannot go into lylo with a player poisoned because it's ambiguous who the poisoner is. That's 4 total town aligned kills with 3 lynches at 10p, 8p, and 5p and 1 poison at 9p

If we NL, we're free to lynch tomorrow at 9p then lynch again at 6p. It's mylo, but we'll have the poisoner backing us up with a kill. That's 4 total town aligned kills. That's 2 lynches at 9p and 6p and 2 poisons at 10p and 8p. I like this path because it involves the same number of town-aligned kills but involves no risk of not finding the poisoner or planning everything out, which is likely to cause the poisoner to poison a player they think is town and of course lets the mafia have a load of information before the town gets it.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Yeah, pretty much. There isn't much to do until you get a second set of results for comparison in Dethy games.

Eugh, okay, let me backtrack here.

When I said pointless, I meant that during day 1 we barely have enough information (and most of it is probably skewed by roles!) to do anything. After people had suggested a plan, there was literally nothing of use for me to say that could help catch scum in any way, shape or form. Of course scumhunting is useful. It's how we catch scum and win.

But you're not contributing despite both suggesting to NL (and shorten) while also complaining about people to contribute. Your plan, while good in perfect land, lacks certainty to win. At least if we lynch now, we won't insta-lose on the off-chance we mispoison.

Our inspections can't tell us more than a standard guess can, but playing like it's a real game makes this more likely to win.
