Yay for swimming! I can lifeguard, in case someone meets a carp or something.
Hah, as if I'd get in the water with carp!

Also a dabbling RL troll :D
And most simple tasks in DF can be done by nearly anyone, it's common knowledge really, everyone should know how to build a chair or carve a mug or something similar.

Ok, I offer to trade some of my notecards and pens/pencils to the traders for a pick.
A cheap one, so copper or something.
Also, if they seem happy with the trade, ask for an ax too.

Yah, I only put in DF skills and it was still a huge list.

((map will be available next turn. I feel like someone is missing from the group list...))

Like me?  :P

I will toss in some of my paper if need be to buy stuff.

GROUP ACTION
We offer some of our pens, pencils, and paper to get one pickaxe and one wood axe, as well as seeds and meat.
Also, is invisibold still with us?
Edited to fit.

Also don't give them all the paper and pencills, we can use them to draw maps and plans on, also to keep track of stuff

We're likely to be doing overground farming, so seeds aren't a huge priority (we can gather). Some preserved food, for if and when we can't harvest any fruit, will do us good.

If we can't get an axe on top of it, then a pick and a piece of wood. We can dig out a rock and carve the wood into an axe later.

I would rather have a professional ax.
Also, maybe the cave doesn't have outside plants.

Also, maybe the cave doesn't have outside plants.
But growing crops will take seasons, and I don't know whether we need to eat only every season or still every day.
So, if we need to eat daily, and there are no outside plants, we can't settle there yet.

We can also use the ax for defense.
And we grow crops to become self sufficient. Yes, we need food now, and we will get it, but we need to become self reliant.
