Turn 27: Spiral Stair

Run up the stairs first, before anyone else damages it more.

2) Sensing that the staircase is very unstable, you suddenly bolt up it, worried that everyone else will break it before you get a chance to get to the top. Unfortunately, you trip on the first stair 5) but quickly regain your balance and continue running. You quickly come to a huge hole in the stairs and jump across. As soon as you land on the other side however, you lose your footing and fall into the water below.

+2 agility
+2 speed Skilled Speedster gained!!

Get a running start and jump up the staircase.

Run up the stairs first, before anyone else damages it more.
Damaging it won't be a problem, the "puzzle" part of this is that you can't actually jump until Minda tells you to in the game... apparently Link has an IQ of 2 or something.(though once you are told to jump he can leap several stories straight up from a running start)

2) You travel up the stairs and find the same gap that Toaster fell through. You jump, but don’t make it far enough, falling down into the water below.

*I'll cooperate with Dwarfguy since I'm riding on his back at the moment anyways and see if I can lift him up to the top now that I've rested a bit.*

5-2=3) you clamp your talons down on dwarfguy hard and try to lift him off the ground. You draw blood, but he barely moves anywhere.

+2 strength

growl the equivalent of "right then." and hitch a ride on the falcon.

Thinking it would be a good idea for a flying cucoo to fly you to the top of the staircase, you ask paulus if he can carry you. It doesn’t end up well.

status: 4/5 hearts

I run up there stairs, jumping across gaps as needed.

6) you are determined to make it up the stairs. You get a running start and leap across every gap and make it to the top without incident.

+5 agility Amateur Acrobat gained!!
+2 speed Skilled Speedster Gained!!

I run up there stairs, wallrunning across gaps as needed.

4-1=3) you know that you can easily make it up the stairs by wall running. You run up the stairs and when you reach the gap, you start running on the wall. Unfortunately, the staircase is an incline plain. You go right under the ledge and fall into the water.

+3 wall running

Catch up to the others

6) you run and join the group. Seeing the stairs, you then easily go up and join Nirur Torir, barely noticing the holes in the path.

+5 speed Skilled speedster gained !!
+5 agility skilled acrobat gained!!

Environment: Nirur and Wolfchild are at the top of the staircase. they arrive into a round room with a metal grate for a floor. They can see their friends below, but right now they’re focusing on the four twilight keese (bats) that are heading for them.

Meanwhile, everyone at the bottom is getting ready to try going up again.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

(Happens from time to time. I certainly appreciate the time you've put into this though and would love to see it continue. Mind you, I'm moving come saturday so I don't know how my posting availability will be for a bit.)

Turn 28: Back in the Drink

I use my jump attack skills on an enemy.

3+1=4) you leap and 2+1=3) catch a keese in your mouth, biting down hard and killing it. unfortunately, there are about 5 or 6 more of them. 1) nothing pops out of the keese you defeated.

+2 melee combat
+2 agility

Leap to attack the keese

2+1=3) you are too buy dodging the attacks of your enemies to get in any of your own. With every single keese trying to kill you, it’s a wonder how you’re even surviving this.

+2 agility

run up, jumping when necessary.

5) frustrated, you run up the staircase and leap across the void with all your might, landing a good two or three steps higher than you needed to be. You quickly run up the rest of the steps and join your friends at the top.

+7 agility, Amateur Acrobat gained!!

I use my EXTREME FOX SPEED to cross the gap like it's not even there.

5+1=6) you follow Dwarfguy up the stairs and quickly pass him, jumping like a frog across the crumbled part. You quickly reach the top before anyone else and even ram right into a keese that’s swarming Wolfchild. 4) it quickly dies. 1) but doesn’t give you anything.

+10 agility, Amateur Acrobat gained, Skilled Acrobat gained!!

I run up the staircase.

4) you run up the staircase. yippee.

+2 agility

I run up there stairs, wallrunning across gaps as needed.
graaargh

2)you run up the stairs but your wallrunning soon sends you back into the drink. You need a better roll.

+1 wall running

*Fly up myself to join the others above in combat with the flying foes.*

(Ie. go fight the bats)

1) you start flying up the stairs, but your fairy slips off your back. She’s too weak to fly and you have to save her. 3) you quickly dive bomb toward her and retrieve her, but you’ve forgotten about pulling up. 6) you twist yourself midair and land safely on your feet, earning a perfect score from our judges.

+5 agility Amateur Acrobat gained!!

Environment: Paulus and Maxi are still stuck at the bottom of the stairs while everyone else is up top.
